Old Glampad plugin: no longer compatible?

Back in 2002/2003 I downloaded some awesome custom skins off of miriya.net, which no longer exists. The skins required the use of several plugins; ASP, Maron, SexyFont, and Glampad, and look like what someone could now do with the Modern Winamp skins. They were pretty awesome for that time.

However, once I upgraded from one of the myriad 2.x versions of Winamp to 3.x or other, these skins stopped working (outright crashing Winamp sometimes). Are any of these plugins not compatible with newer versions of Winamp? I puttered and tinkered for a long time but eventually mothballed the skins 'cause I didn't know how to mod Winamp at the time, but didn't want to delete them in case I could get things working again. I still have the plugins and have tried installing them on Winamp 5.531, but nothing useful happens.

I suppose if I was REALLY clever I could figure out how to edit the skin's text files to make them work with XML and the 5.531 edition of Winamp I'm using now, but I only know HTML. I'd rather get these old plugins to work, but if not, well, any advice at all would be welcome. I LOOOOVE those skins... Thanks!

get the source code for the plugin and update it. or make a modern skin that mimics similar behaviors.

XML is hard...

I'd totally try to update the plugin myself, except I've never messed with one before, and the last time I took any kind of coding language was about five years ago in college. :( Fortunately, though, I've been reading through one of the tutorials for making Winamp3 skins and it looks like I might be able to re-code the text files in those skins for XML, since they've already got instructions for the necessary coordinates and transparencies & stuff. Still, I wanted to try and save myself a lot of work and see if it was just a matter of tweaking one little plugin. :P Thanks.

(P.S. I'm not sure if I CAN find the source code for that plugin. The website that I got it from doesn't exist anymore, and the plugin doesn't exist anywhere else. :3)
