ShoutCast doesn't see station/computer

I am sure this has to be somewhere but I can't find it anywhere. I have used the forum to troubleshoot most all of my "problems" except this one.

<11/20/08@13:07:45> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave error (nak)
<11/20/08@13:07:45> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (Cannot see your station/computer
(IP: 71.236.47.12:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection timed out).)

I also don't get where you name the station. Is that in the "description" YP section of the DNAS?

Nak Errors,

You need to forward ports in your firewall / router

Read the Winamp Read me before posting
Evil Lu's Fixing Nak Errors
I Like Tunes Fixing Nak Errors

you need to fill in the description of the dsp.

It took my ISP to configure the port. They don't want anyone accessing "their" modem/router.
Seems to be working just fine now.
I knew it had to be in there somewhere (I recalled seeing it) but hey, it's been a work in progress for about 28 hours...

And thanks for confirming it was the "Description" section that named it.

Follow any of the links in the first reply. I used the second and third. The third gives really clear details as to how to forward the ports.
If you are dealing with a picky ISP (like me) you will need to call their tech support and they will do it for you.
The downside is that we do not currently have a static IP assigned so come Wednesday when the lease expires I may have more work to do.

you can use a dynamic dns name from www.dyndns.com or www.no-ip.com

you can use this instead of an ip address,

http://likethis.no-ip.com
