Best to start your own thread if you need support then people can see the history which i have done for you.
do you have a router and a modem / seperate? have you rebooted the router? have you pointed it to the correct internal ip address? disable any other firewalls xp firewall etc |

Then you havent forwarded the ports by the sound of it?
you need to forward the ports to your local ip which can be found by going to start > run > type "cmd" > window opens : type "ipconfig" this will give you your local ip which you need to forward 8000 - 8001 to in your router |

done that.I have forwarded the ports by entering the ip address of the router in the address bar of mozilla.
then i went security>virtual servers and i added a server with the name WampAS1, External Port Start 8000, External Port End 8001 and Protocol TCP/UDP... |

sounds good,
if that is the only thing thats blocking the ports then you should have no further issues, |

you need to forward your pcs ip address in the router setup too.
find your network address: start -> run -> cmd -> ipconfig Look for your ip 192.168.*.* enter that in your router settings. note: If you reboot your pc its network ip may change,so you may have to setup ip/port forwarding in your router again. This is because your pc may get its ip address via dhcp automatically. |

You dont just open the ports on your router, you must also forward those ports to the pc which is running sc_serv.
This is so the router sends all requests made on port 8000(or your sc port) to the sc_serv on your pc. |

Can you post a picture of your router port forwarding page and maybe we can help you further however If you cannot work the router then maybe you should look at a stream host.
Most people set up shoutcast locally and realize they do not have the bandwidth to carry the stream anyway so you might just be cutting out all the agrovational element of shoutcasting. in your router settings you should be forwarding the ports to the local ip as jkey has said above, something like this depending on your router make, what is your router make?
