IPs shoutcast server

Probably this was asked several times.. but not
found it T__T
anyways, I install the shoutcast plugin and the server,

but when I tried to access 190.42.5.16:8000/
190.42.5.16 is my IP and it is not working and I don't
know why >_<
please .. help? thank you
or maybe it's a private IP, but I doubt it, it's there a way to have a public IP?

I found this public IP I have...192.168.1.35:8000/
and appears icecast.. deleted that and now still not working >>

There is nothing at that address.

You can figure out your public IP at www.whatismyip.com.

You also need to make sure you have port forwarding setup properly or else no one outside of your internal network will be able to connect. You can learn to do that at www.portforward.com.

That's a PRIVATE ip address

The other address looks public

IF the DNAS is running on your local PC, and the PC has a PRIVATE ip address, you stream to the PRIVATE ip address, and set up port forwarding to that ip address from the PUBLIC ip address ... listeners then use the PUBLIC ip to listen
