Hosting On A Website
Hello how could i host my own radio from my website instead of my computer?
as i have a forum and am going to add a pop up so listeners can listen to the radio |

A website is not the same thing as a SHOUTcast server. If you have an hosting provider you need SSH/Shell access and the ability to run executable binaries. If you don't know if you if you have that, contact your host.

Unless you have a dedicated server with a fat pipe your not going to get anywhere, I'm going to assume you have shared hosting? If so...
What I think you need is to shop for a Shoutcast hosting company. Go http://www.radiotoolbox.com/hosts/ there for a list of them. You need to get a Server with a set bandwidth/set amount of listeners that you choose and then for the content you'll want to look for "auto dj" or "content delivery" service. This is pretty much buying a block of space on a server where you can upload your mp3's then then it will automatically play them to your server with different options like shuffle, etc..
