Help Broadcast from Club! Want Crowd Noise.
I was hoping that a few of you have done this in the past. I am looking to broadcast from a club, I already done this in the past, connected directly to the mixer, the only BIG issue I have is that we don't get crowd noise.
Now I want to broadcast with crowd noise, what is the best microphone to use? Also can the mixer and the Microphone be on at the sametime? Or it should only be one or the other?? Keep in mind that this is a club playing loud Trance/Dance Music.. |

I would use another mixer or a small preamp mixer so that you can fade in between the direct music and the mic picking up the music/crowd noises. This way you can control the level of the mic vs. the real sound and you could just do it once in a while to give the listeners an occasional feel for what the vibe is like. Oh and also you won't be altering what's being played inside the club too, the DJ prob wouldn't like that too much. And yah you prob want a kind of a decent mic with decent noise cancellation.
