Servers

I am starting a new website for on line radio station. I am curious if shoutcast will be my dedicated server or do i need to get one for my site for the live streaming. Please help me in this matter.

You wouldnt really need a dedicated server to start with if it is a new station but it depends on what you are looking to do.

i would start small with a shoutcast host that fits your budget where everything is configured and managed until your station grows and you know exactly what you are looking to do.

if you need to look into stream hosting you can find a list of hosts here as there are plenty around

http://www.broadcastingworld.net/reviews/hosts/ or www.radiotoolbox.com/hosts

Moved to Shoutcast Discussion..
