Milkdrop Desktop Mode for dual monitors

I know there is a big dual monitor thread stickied, but it seems like everyone is just trying to get it to go fullscreen on either monitor.
What I am trying to do is use desktop mode and have both of my monitors desktops show visualizations. If configure milkdrop and go into dual head, I can choose to span both displays, but this does not seem to work, I still only get one desktop or the other. Does anyone know if this is possible to do? Thanks

I am sorry to say that I will not be able to give a concrete answer to your query. I am of the view that it is not possible to configure milkdrop and place it on two desktops at the same time. I have decided to ask one of my friends who is working for Nullsoft. I will send a mail to him and most probably he will give me a reply within two days. As soon as I get it I will post it.
