Winamp Plugin Problems?

I accidently installed ffdshow the other day and it messed up all my plugins. I use Winamp 5.572 and the DivX 7 package, and everything was working fine until I accidently installed ffdshow. I figured out why my plugins were all messed up and I uninstalled the ffdshow package, as well as DivX and Winamp, and restarted my computer and reinstalled DivX and Winamp. However, it is still having problems, with audio messed up in some Xvid files. What's more, I am unable to play .mkv files in both Winamp and the DivX Player. Someone please help me, this is extremely frustrating.

I would highly recommend that you follow the "Clean Install Instructions" found at this link:

Sounds like there are ffdshow or DivX settings still causing issues...
