CD Lookup giving runtime errors
If I have Winamp running and insert a music CD that Winamp has never seen before, I am getting the following error:
R6034 - The Application has made an attempt to load the C+ runtime library incorrectly. Here is what makes the problem really strange: The error only happens if I have another application active. For example, I have Winamp open in the background, but I am actually working in Opera. When I put the CD in the drive while browsing, I get the error and the error even tries to claim that it was C:\Program Files\opera\opera.exe that generated the error. However, the reason I know it is Winamp and not opera is because: First, If I am browsing my hard drive, the error is from explorer.exe, if I am playing a game, it lists the game executable, and so on. (Photoshop actually locks up instead of giving an error.) Second, the error ONLY happens if I have Winamp open. If I close Winamp and put a new CD in, I dont get the error. The other thing that is odd is that if Winamp is the active application, I don't get the error either. This is just a guess, but based on the behavior it seems like there is something about CD lookup service that doesn't know how to report properly if WinAMP isn't the active application. Required information: Plugins: None. I just bought WinAMP and haven't added anything to it. I went ahead and removed/reinstalled just to be sure. Motherboard: Asus ENGT240 CPU/RAM: AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.01 GhZ / 3GB RAM Sound: Whatever is on the motherboard. Device Managers says "NVIDIA High Definition Audio" OS: XP SP3. Run updates every week DX: 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) Winamp Version: 5.572 (x86) Installation Type: Don't see where to find this. I assume Pro since I paid for it. |

Bump. I paid for this product. I'd like a little tech support for it please.
