shoutcast 2.0 daemon debian linux

When I execute:

./sc_serv sc_serv.conf

It works, and log to the console as it is suppose to. The web server fires up, and everything is relaying as it should.

When I execute:

./sc_serv daemon sc_serv.conf

It works, but the relays never start, and the web pages say the server is down.

why? shouldn't the configuration run exactly the same in daemon mode?

sorry for the post.. it was a big my bad..

The solution was to add paths to:

logfile=

ripfile=

banfile=

w3clog=

That fixed the problems, and executed sc_serv in daemon mode..
