One global hotkey to open ML and playlist?

How can I set up Alt+Spacebar to hide/show the media library and playlist at the same time?

you can't without coding it or hoping someone will do it for you... which i'm tempted to do (as i'm in a good mood, heh).

are the windows already hidden ie you've closed them via the main menu / keyboard shortcut / clicking the close button?

if you're wanting to show both, are you also wanting to hide them together?

what type of skin are you working with (and if possible the actual skin name if it's a modern skin) as different skins handle the windows differently at times.

are you expecting the action to work in any active window (as doing it as a global hotkey prevents alt+space opening the system menu in any other program on the system) or just in the main window for example?

Plain modern skin, with the main player docked to the bottom of the screen and the ML and PL already set up to fit to show/hide together. (Pic 1 and 2)

I'd like them to show/hide wherever I'm focused.


Side note: If I use the Bento skin, I can have what I want, but when I have the player docked and I use the hotkey to show the ML, the player comes out of docked mode (Pic 3 4 5)

i still need to look into it as i'm not sure how things will work in the docked scenario (haven't used docking for years), just seem to have lost time with a few plug-in updates that i'm already working on taking longer than i'd like (with around 30 left to vefify) and a few other bug reports which have bumped this down the list. give me a few weeks to have a proper look and see what can be done.
