Advanced Title Formatting
Is there a way for me to keep the main player (docked on the bottom of the screen) to keep its current display while having the playlist editor display "%artist% - %title%"?
My current format is: code: ThinkPad T61, C2D @ 2.2GHz, 4GB DDR2, Win7x64Pro |

I doubt it, both main Window and playlist use the ATF string, sorry.

What about the use of dynamic spacing to get the same info onto the playlist editor, but sill all some room on the main player?

What about having the playlist simply display just the file name?
I can sort of do it now, except when a file is played, the metadata is read. ThinkPad T61, C2D @ 2.2GHz, 4GB DDR2, Win7x64Pro |

with how you have your Winamp setup you're not going to be able to achieve it.
if you alter the skin's main ticker to be a custom text object then i think you can specify your own title string and leave the playlist titles as just the filename. however you need to edit skin files to do that and depending on the layout of the skin files it could be a few minutes to a few hours to get it all changed and working correctly so it'll act like the existing song ticker area. the other thought i had was overriding the playlist title via a documented api so you have the normal atf string still used but from what i remember the overriden value is then used as the title so that wouldn't work so i think it's really only viable with custom skin modifications. -daz |
