Prevent WA from transfering folder.jpg's to pmp ?

First off im liking that wa transfers my album art when i select "transfer to pmp"
but the art that gets sent over is way too small and looks bad

i have a folder.jpg in all album folders 800x800 for my Flac collection
and then im using embedded art with my mp3 collection added with tag/rename

if i transfer manualy my art shows perfect on my player
but if i click on send to.. player and then add a folder.jpg afterwards it gets ignored by the pmp and the art tranferrred by wa gets priority in the player

any suggestions for me ?
sadly im stuck transfering manualy or using winamp with bad cover art
even if i could stop winamp from sending too small jp'g i'd be happy..

one last bump

i think WA is copying the cached thumbnails that i see in my media library
and not the actual images the thumbnails are read from which are all 800px or larger
all i ever get transfered to my Sansa Fuze+ is small images that must be about 1 or 200px large roughly
Just to verify whats displayed/read, In my local media library i see the large cover art properly in the now playing tab (800px or larger)

i would love it if there was an ini file somewhere that had some sort of control over this
functionality to either disable the transfer of covers or to specify a size to transfer.

any experts know whats going on ? is it really copying my cached thumbnail covers ?

to recap my problem..
i get thick bright white borders surrounding the cd covers on my Fuze+
because the "Send to device" menu option is sending images that are too small
and if i copy the images over manually i get the the Fuze cover area filled correctly.
i also add that my player is capable of using covers of almost any size and filling the area
with no borders.. i've tried up like 3000x3000px by 300dpi and had no problem with the Fuze+
showing the covers correctly

Same problem with Philips GoGear Opus

I have this same exact problem, my pmp is capable of displaying any sized jpg and if necessary it scales it down to the resolution of the screen. However, winamp when it syncs the player resizes all the art down to 120x120. I have been searching EVERYWHERE trying to find an answer to this problem, but I can't find one. I have gone through every option in winamp trying to find the one that will not force a resize when transferring through MTP, but I cannot find one. PLEASE HELP!

Tiring problem.......

Best i can do so far is transfer with Winamp and go in to the portable drive
and delete the ".alb" files and then copy over my own folder.jpg's
If you have to do that its almost pointless using winamp.

Some reseach i've done shows windows media player under the same circumstances
does NOT have this problem. Seems to be related to the MTP protocol i think.
Which is not configurable of course.. ughgggh

Oh and search terms on google regarding this problem showed this as the first hit lol

basic functionality is a lost cause..
Hooray there is a MAC version now ?
lol oh jeeeez

Closed source software with no support sucks
I think it may be time to switch to something else (that works)

I've said above what my problem is
and i'll call it that because apparently i'm the only one on earth that has
a portable device with a screen larger than one hundred and twenty eight pixels.

Time to move on..
