player wont find any of my music

i got a 32 gig class 4 micro sd for xmas, syncd everything last night while i was asleep. checked this morning it was complete so i went to play songs and it wouldnt load any.
i have an hd2 running froyo so i went back into windows mobile mode and windows media player found all the files. if i use a file explorer i find all my songs and can have them play in winamp but it still wont find them in the library...
plugged back into pc and they are indeed showing as syncd
any ideas?
