Winamp not starting up
I've used Winamp for quite some time and I decided today to try out this iPod addon. I downloaded the lastest version (3.10) and installed it following the instructions on the Wiki.
However, when I try to open Winamp now, nothing happens. If I open task manager I can see it running for a few moments before ending. I've uninstalled Winamp completely and started afresh, but I'm having the same problem. Using: Windows 7 Professional 32-bit Core 2 Duo @ 1.5 2Gb RAM |

The iPod_Support_v3_10 is buggy.
I have the same problem on my laptop but on my pc its fine, both running win7 ult64. Uninstall Winamp AND go into program files x86 and delete the entire winamp directory. Then install winamp again Try looking for an older version of iPod support. ...and can someone please report this issue to the developers!

When you install Winamp, DO NOT install pmp_iPod! The two don't work together. Previous versions of the plugin removed pmp_iPod automatically, but one anti-virus program reported the program as possible malware. Most did not. Explaining the details were of no use to paranoid people, so Abu removed this part.

I have the same problem. I tried installing winamp without the ipod support, and after then installing ml_ipod 3.10, winamp won't start up.

I had this problem; disabling the audioscrobbler plugin during ml_ipod installation worked wonderfully.

Sorry, I am pretty new to winamp. I am having the same problem with my iPod.
What is ml_iPod? It sounds like a file of some sort. |

@Accessory Geeks
If you are new to Winamp, than use the native Winamp iPod manager! |

I get the same problem. ml_ipod (which I have been using for years now, nice work btw) works fine.
It is strange but on my older computer with win 7 it worked fine. But on my new computer there is this problem! Does anyone have any advice on how to get last.fm scrobbling working now that this dll causes winamp to crash? |

there are 2 threads in the main forum which explains why the standalone audioscrobbler plug-in is now crashing (and has done since around the time of the 5.59beta release and some Windows updates).
the basic answer is the plug-in will be fixed when i find some freetime to be able to work on it before releasing a newer version which isn't going to crash. -daz |
