Consume Stream
I am a web developer and have a client who is a radio station. They have asked me to do some development with their online streaming via shoutcast. I want to consume the stream in an AIR app. I having trouble locating info on this. The link they have on their website is a playlist file (.pls), which just downloads and open up iTunes on my Mac. I cannot seem to locate their stream url and when I click on it on the shoutcast site to get the enbed code, it does not work. The radio call letters are WCLQ. Thoughts anyone?

download the .pls file and save it locally, rather than letting the browser open the associated application for .pls file
the .pls file has the stream address in it as far as "consuming" the stream, I imagine you'd have same issues with AIR as with Flash Player - so good luck with that "If you don't like DNAS, write your own damn system" So I did |

Thanks,
I found that and was playing with it, but since I have been unsuccessful in getting it to work, I thought I might be using an incorrect url. ANyone ever tried something like this? |
