multiple radios (one instance or more)
Hi all !
I'm starting with shoutcast and it's a little bit hard ![]() I would want to create 10 or more radios for my various clients. I read that sc_serv can support multiple stream. Should I create multiples intances of sc_serv ou should I create one instance with multiple streams ? Is it possible to create only one instance with multiple stream ? With multiple sc_trans ? Could you give me an example please ? Many thanks ! P |

You can use one instance of sc_serv2 (the new beta DNAS) to service multiple streams of differing formats/content but the sources for each will have to be individually instanced for different content.
For example, in your given scenario, one instance of sc_serv2 and 10+ instances of sc_trans all connected (with the appropriate configured stream configs/metadata) to the single instance of sc_serv2. |
