Streaming to Shoucast Server from MAC's possible?

I've got a few guys running Mac Book Pro's and when they do a live stream they would like to connect directly from their Mac to my Shoutcast servers. Does anyone here recommend a free app they can install and configure on their machine to do so?

the only true free app for connecting to a SC server would be sc_trans but i doubt they're going to like that option as it's a command-line only tool. other than i'm not too sure as most options seem to require some cost or they introduce noise / locked features (like Nicecast which i've had working with the v2 server - no idea about working with a v1 server).

I'd recommend Nicecast but its not free.
