Microphone in Winamp
Hi!
I've got the newest version of Winamp and Shoutcast, but I have a question, Can I put the microphone to can hear in the transmision Winamp and the microphone? I can't use the "Stereo Mix" because the microphone is in other audio card. There is a Plug-in or similar to can do this? |

the official DSP won't do it unless you can use something like a virtual cable to redirect the output from the other card to the main one being used (alas i sold my other sound card a few months before starting work on SC development otherwise i could have more easily looked into a native solution for this).
other than that, nothing else jumps out as it sounds like you're on Vista / Win 7 so some of the alternatives i can think off probably won't work as they're intended for XP and prior. -daz |

well your stuff (i know some people have had some success on Vista / Win7 but i'm never happy recommending something that isn't actively developed / tested on those OSes) and some of the other virtual audio cable programs around.

as i was under the impression that it was better at handling multi-card scenarios at least on XP.

No, I'm not in Vista/7, I'm in XP. I have the USB microphone in other soundcard.
I found the livewire in the thinktink's signature and it works very well. The microphone has an external switch, so it's perfect the automatic mode. Thanks a lot! |
