Winamp and accented Songnames

Hi. I've been using Winamp 1.1.1 for Android and I'm trying to sync my desktop Playlists with and I'm facing some issues.

What happens is: when I sync a certain playlist (say 'my_songs'), all of its songs are copied into the SDCARD of my Android Mobile. That's just fine.

However, I notice that when I open the 'my_songs' playlist in Winamp Android, the songs with accented titles are not present in it (even if they are physically present in the sdcard). All other songs are included normally in the playlist (even the ones whose Artist names are accented).

If I try to open this playlist using Winamp Media Library Devices (on my PC), it displays 100% of the songs (accented or not).

The only way I can add these accented songs to 'my_songs' is manually: I open Winamp Android, select each song and choose 'Add to playlist'... then it finally appears in the mentioned playlist.

What may be happening? This is rather annoying and it's happing only with these songs with accented titles...
