Unicode playlists

Hi,

Did I do something wrong or is the Android version of Winamp incapable of reading unicode playlists? I have many songs that have characters from other languages in their names, so if I put them in a normal playlist Android Winamp will simply not show them when I open the playlist.
Is there anything that can be done about it?

On another note: is there still no internal volume control? Even when using the highest volume setting of my phone my songs are still a little too quiet.
