This is a long shot at best. Late 90s Early 2000. Rock song with an all male band. Only thing I really remember is the late 70s early 80s Firebird/Trans-am with the guy that had the short shorts and sunglasses. Seems like the song was about a girl.

Sadly, I believe I know the tune you are referencing, but am in the same boat as you and can not recall the name.
