New Version on Droid Stutters

Got the latest version of Winamp for Droid from Droid Market. Ready to buy the Pro version for the EQ. HOORAY!!! The new version of Winamp stutters playing MP3's. I switch to the native Droid Music application, no problems.

Something is very wrong with this version of Winamp for Droid. What needs to happen to diagnose, please?

I think I've got the same thing. It's not exactly like a person stutters but the audio stops (sometimes for several seconds) and then starts again.
