Galaxy S2 can't find the songs on SD card
Dear All
I am Frustrated, mainly because I know the solution is so near and yet... I connect my phone to the computer. I start desktop Winamp. It sees my phone, both the internal storage and the SD card. I manually drag 10 files onto the SD card, and also a playlist that contains 4 of those cards. All is ok. I close desktop winamp and use File Explorer to confirm the files are on the card. They are there. I start winamp on the phone. It does not know how to find the songs or the playlist. What am I missing? Please help. Thanks Christos |

I have a galaxy s2 from t mobile, and a class 10 SD card, and Winamp finds the music. I do have a problem with playback on some, but I think it is not related to your issue. However, I wanted to tell you that I have the same phone and no problems finding music.
One thing that may be related, When I am connected to the PC, Winamp desktop will not report the music I have on accurately. It only shows a fractoin of what is there, tags are missing, etc... I hope this helps the troubleshooting. The files that do not register on winamp are the .oog files that I encoded using Winamp Pro 5.572... Incidentally, they don't play on my phone, even using the default music player. These files play and register fine on my pc's... |
