Is there a way to minimize Winamp to the system tray while it's playing?

There is a very easy solution for that. Goto your options, then goto display. It will have options if u want it in the systems task bar when its minimized. Once u open winamp and play a song u can minimize it and it will be playing while in the taskbar

Yes there is:
Open Winamp Press Ctrl + P
Click on "Display" under Options
Now in the lower left there is a option called "Show Winamp in:"
Choose "System Tray Only"
Now press Close.
