Is it possible?

I have just decided after running my own server for about 2 years now that I want to use a host so I can get a bigger audience. So here is my issue.

It seems after the server host is running for a while it gets stuck and palys back about 10 seconds of the same track every time you try and listen. Is this possible.

I still use my server to host the playlists and for my djs to login ect... I only use the host to relay the broadcast to the world.

Go to http://www.recordhedaz.net and have a listen let me know if anyone gets the same problem. Or is it something from my home. Every time I listen to the server here at home its fine and I never had a prob with it that DRO or think cant fix :P

i've not seen the issue from a quick try of the stream either via the 2 site players or in a proper player, though with v1 DNAS being used for things it's a bit out of my range of knowledge and other than checking the logs, there's not too much else i can suggest.

Dro I think its something to do with the intro file. The encoding of it. Im using v2 DNAS and trans to broadcst to the relay which is v1. On the v1 relay server I have the intro file. I think it might be a conflict with the intro file bitrate and the v2 it rate. What do you think? I have encoded the mp3 intro file to 16bit 44100

anything to do with intro files is likely to cause issues since they're just dumped into the stream (fine for proper players but not for most flash players) and especially with the current build of the v2 DNAS.

it is something i've done some work on but it's not going to be ideal for some time without proper re-syncing of the intro file data into the stream. it's a bit better if it's come from the Transcoder which is able to decode the intro file and then sends that to the DNAS (when all is working in v2 mode).
