Unhappy Separate listings for songs with Featured artists

Hi. I'm using Winamp for Android. For the most part, it works OK, and I am able to transfer songs to the Android device (HTC Incredible) without much problem, using either WiFi from the Winamp Pro installed on my laptop, or by connecting the device via USB to my laptop.

Here's the problem:

Whenever a song on an album has a "featured artist," that song is indicated as being by a different artist and is included under a separate listing, as though it is not part of that album but a completely separate one, making it impossible to play the album in sequence. It's as if the song doesn't exist. The only way around this is to create a playlist of that includes all the songs, which is an extreme inconvenience.

I have tried changing the meta data in the mp3, but that is an even BIGGER inconvenience.

This is not a problem with the main Winamp app installed on my laptop and desktop.

Is there some way around this?

I'm using Build 1.2.12.

All solutions greatly appreciated.

u need to use albumartist tags, and you need to read the android forum about albumartist tags, b/c the winamp implementation is fubar out of the box, but can be fixed by users.

BUG #1 = Winamp skips short tracks
Wish #1 = Multiple Column Sorting
Wish #2 = Add TCMP/Compilation editing
