Winamp does not read metadata from some tracks on my Android device

When I look at my device through Winamp, about 1600 tracks show up as no artist. I confirmed the metadata is present on my phone (artist information etc shows up in the Winamp Android App and I can see that information through Windows Explorer).

Does anyone know why does Winamp not see the metadata for those tracks?

The is causing an issue when I try to sync my music collection. Winamp wants to transfer those 1600 tracks to my phone. I assume this is because Winamp is not seeing the metadata for them.
