S3 issue - synced playlist not removing songs
New to the Android world, and I couldn't find this answer elsewhere in the Forums, so here goes.
I just got an Samsung Galaxy S3 (finally switched from iPhone), and I imported a user-created iTunes playlist. I've since modified it, removing songs and adding songs. I tried syncing that user-created iTunes playlist with Winamp, which resulted in Winamp wanting to add all 15,000 songs in my music library, not just that playlist. So I deleted the playlist from the phone within Winamp then added it again. It did add the songs I'd added to the playlist, but didn't delete the ones I'd removed. And since I installed an SD card to store my artists that always stay on my phone, now I have duplicates, even though I removed them from the iTunes playlist. I've yet to figure out how to sync his playlist with my S3 without Winamp wanting to move my entire music library when I've only added this one iTunes playlist. So, any ideas on how I can get Winamp to actually sync and add songs I want added and remove songs I want removed without having to actually go in and add and delete files and folders myself in Windows Explorer? I honestly thought Winamp would be a lot more user-friendly than it's proving to be. Maybe I was spoiled by the simplicity of iTunes, but I did not expect syncing music to be this big of a hassle on Android. I'm using Winamp 5.63; Win7 Home Premium SP 1; Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E6700 @ 3.20GHz, 3203 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s) |
