No albums on Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus

WinAmp works OK on my HTC EVO 4G LTE phone. But using the same album arrangement on my MicroSD card, on my Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus tablet it lists all the Artists (composers in my case), but says there are zero Albums under each of them. If I expand the composer, it lists all the tracks in all the albums by that composer. Why are the albums missing?

Both devices run Android 4.0.x

This makes it pretty useless.
