Winamp can not handle paths\filenames including ä,ö,ü

When I put such files to winamp's playlist, you cannot play the files, winamp does not detect the playtime as well...

Winamp 5.63, Windows 7 x64 SP1

where exactly in Winamp are you adding the files ?

the type of the playlist (m3u, m3u8, etc) ?

just d&d to playlist editor from explorer- no load/save of playlist used
