Syncing duplicates tracks

I've seen similar posts, but nothing that's answered my question.

Here's what happens:
  1. I have the songs for Playlist A on both my android and my PC
  2. I connect my android via Wi-Fi to Winamp
  3. I set up Winamp to only sync Playlist A
  4. I add one song to Playlist A on the PC side.
  5. I sync my device.
  6. Instead of copying only the new song, it copies ALL of the songs, so I have duplicates now on the device.

Other issue: let's say Playlist A is empty on my Android, but the track to be synced is on my Android, then when I sync I don't want Winamp to copy over the track. I only want it to add the track to the playlist so that my Android knows its on there.

Shouldn't sync only copy the actual files if they don't already exist on the Android device?

Thanks.

Same problem, no solution yet.

I have been fighting the exact same issue as you describe it. I've even deleted all my files off my android, hoping to eliminate the issue. First sync everything is loaded and looks good on the android. Second sync, all files duplicated again.

On additional note: In WinAmp on Desktop, if highlight <your device> | <playlist>, and select one of the songs that are listed multiple times, then right click / remove, get a warning ".. this will physically remove the file from your device". If you accept, it removes all copies. So I can't manually clean up the "duplicates" that way either.
