I have plenty of .mp3 music tracks on my SD card on my Samsung Galaxy Ace and have the basic version of Winamp installed as an app. I needed it for a party recently but it would not find any of the tracks. If I go into 'My Files', I can find these tracks but Winamp keeps telling me there are no tracks. Why can't it find them? I can't seem to find any way to tell Winamp what directory they are in. Urgent advice needed. Thank you

winamp is picky on where files are stored on devices
first make sure the folder where the files are stored is called "music" if not winamp will disregard all files stored on any flash card this is to prevent duplicates and temporary files from showing (things like ringtones) if said is done there is known issues being resolved with galaxy phones this maybe one of them thanks rob (c)rob 2013 (picture & SN) (please note) As users we can't give others help unless we get full details of the problem that you are having |

will be from root folder
do in this instance if looking from phone extsdcard/music/files.mp3 music can be subfoldered under the music folder just needs to be in that folder if you sync the phone with winamp for windows or mac it will automatically do the correct folder for you thanks rob (c)rob 2013 (picture & SN) (please note) As users we can't give others help unless we get full details of the problem that you are having |
