Hi,
are sc_serv and sc_trans binaries available for the Raspberry Pi? Thanks, Stefan |

Are there any alternatives to send mp3 streams with the Raspberry Pi?
Just found this article; this guy is using DarkIce and Icecast2. Did anyone try this? Edit: DarkIce and Icecast2 are working perfectly! Last edited by stbi; 8th September 2013 at 04:04. |

for sc_trans it's because we're not provided the decoding libraries which will run as a native Raspbian compile (and without them or changing things, sc_trans would be useless).
for the DNAS (sc_serv) it's already available at http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=373139 |

That's sad. Thanks for the response though. Anyway, I managed to fire up a stream with Icecast2 and Ezstream, not the same functionality as sc_trans yet, but it's a start.
Have a nice day! |
