Update Authash Error Code: 462

I want change the genre of one of my streams but after trying to get access to update the Authash i'm getting this error-response:

Error Code: 462.
Parameter error.
[Invalid parameter k]

SHOUTcast Server v2.2.2.123/posix(linux x64)

How can i fix it?

I am having the same problem and I get the same error. My stream is hosted by provider and is not on my pc. My provider said we would have to wait for the new shoutcast update which will fix this error. Along this another problem arise which is that some flash players and desktop players do not support artist-song title (metadata). If you have this problem you can use in config file parameter disableicy=0 temporarily and restart DNAS. I know, I did not help you much..

Spanic, this is the current version of shoutcast and it has nothing to with the known metadata issue.

I don't get the formular to change it. The error apears after the click on "Update Authhash".

neralex: pm me the authhash as well as what you're trying to change things from / to.

Spanic: likewise if you're seeing it. and there is no need to go on about the metadata problem (which as there is the config option to fix things, is not as bad as you're making it out to be).

neralex: i've changed the genres for the two authhash for you.

it's an intermittent issue related to the change over to use libcurl with the new DNAS release as well as an incorrect check on the YP side which causes some of the requests to fail like you've seen (which is mainly an issue when trying to amend an existing authhash).

you need to restart the streams for the change to apply. as they're both correctly set for what is in the database. as that information is only updated on an 'add' and not on an 'update' though i suppose i should look to enable support for that with the next update (just means we blow through more bandwidth).

as long as someone is using a 2.2.x DNAS then a YP update that will be made later today will resolve the need for a stream re-connect if we [SHOUTcast] need to amend some of the stream details (seems like i'd put some thought into getting the DNAS to support it without adding anything to the YP).
