I have used winamp for years and just recently bought a new computer with windows 8.1 and sought out Winamp to install their program but see they have been shut down almost a year now, sure sounds like they are going out of business.
Is there any way I can get a copy of their program that I can run on windows 8.2?

have you not read anything in the stickied news thread and are just relying on things off the internet instead?

as everything was all sold in January 2014 (from AOL to Radionomy) and there's a lot of work on both Winamp and SHOUTcast to be done with new Winamp clients being released in 2015.

so in the news thread and even this one, is ways to get working copies of the current Winamp release (5.666 build 3516 + required plug-in updates) which works fine on Windows 8.1.


finally, if Winamp had shut down then you wouldn't have an official forum (as this is) to post on.... need i same more?
