broadcast sound is very low
Hi i have downloaded 5.66 v. Of winamp...and also downloaded shotcast dsp for it. When i give output to my radio on my website the sound is very low...i already checked everything of sound system of pc and winamp and it's 100% full volumn.i also tryed reinstalling winamp but unfourtenately sound is too low...
please help me.... |

As far as I'm aware, with your setup (Winamp + Shoutcast DSP) the volume of the stream depends solely on the levels of the media file you are playing. The volume setting of your audio card definitely has no effect, and the volume setting in winamp has no effect either (in my experience, I could be wrong, but I doubt it)
that leaves two sources of low volume ... the media file itself has low volume, or the player is playing at low volume - you mention you have "radio on my website", so I'm assuming you have some shitty flash application as a player for your radio stream. I've seen 1, maybe 2, flash applications that are worth using for shoutcast/icecast streams, the rest are dodgy crap written by spastic basket weavers that are not worth the money spent on them, even if they're free.
