need new stream...eliminate old stream
I have transitioned to a new stream with new provider. The old stream and new stream are running concurrently. I would like to list new stream with Shoutcast exclusively and would like new stream to run through Shoutcast exclusively. I intend to drop old stream soon.
199.195.194.92:8011 OLD STREAM 142.4.223.16:8191 NEW STREAM URL http://pioneeradio.net What is the best practice to pull this off? The station handle is "Pioneer." Thank you for sharing your brilliance. |

the new one is currently private which is why it is not being listed. you need to make it public and then it will be listed. plus with that DNAS install, you should set it to use a DNS value, e.g. publicip=http://pioneeradio.net so the DNAS will use a DNS value instead of the IP value for it's listing and any playlists provided by the DNAS (which will save you a lot of hassle if you need to move / change the IP address at a later time). obviously the example i've put won't work, but is mainly to show what would need to be set.
