Question What is NSIS built on?

On what compiler is NSIS built on?

I'm building it on visual studio 6 and getting very different stubs from the one in the NSIS distribution (source i'm compiling matches the version i'm downloading)

I think I remember reading somewhere that you guys build it with visual studio 6

I'm wondering because I'd like to build it as similarly as you guys do, so that my installers are recognized as NSIS installers by signature scanners (the ones I build aren't)

If you can please detail the specifications that you build NSIS on I'd appreciate it (including service packs, etc)
