how do I play protected files?
Hi, I had Winamp, but couldn't play a file that presumaby was "protected". Then a sign showed up, saying that I needed an update, which never downloadsa, so I could never play the file. I read all the options: nothing. So I uninstalled the one I had, because I read in a forum that the 5.66666 or something could play these files. Same result: "In order to play this file, a security update is needed. Proceed?" Yes, please!! But no =(
When I click on the update or plug-ins buttons, I have this result: "We'll be back soon". Do I need a DRM? What can I do to play this kind of files? I'm in a online library, and all the files are the same... HELP!! Btw, I've been a most faithfull user for 20 years. Best player ever!!! Thanks, S. |

I suggest you download and install the free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (https://www.malwarebytes.com/dl-confirm/) and/or SUPERAntiSpyware (http://www.superantispyware.com/supe...freevspro.html) and run complete scans of your computer. It won't hurt to run a complete anti-virus scan too. I assume you already have an AV app. Windows 10 Home 64-bit v21H2 desktop - Logitech Z906 5.1 speaker system |
