Cant update fallback file
Hello,
I've now uploaded my new fallback file twice, but it is still playing the old one. Shouldn't it automatically replace the old one? I've downloaded it and its the new one. So why is it playing the old one? Thanks. |

I never used DNAS.
This is for SHOUTcast Streaming Service. I always went to rmo.shoutcast.com and used the fallback file. I don't know what DNAS is, what version it is, or how to reset it. Is that necessary? |

right ... DNAS is the core of shoutcast audio - Distributed Network Audio Server - given you are using rmo.shoutcast.com I'm guessing
a) it would be the latest version; and b) it would not require restarting when updating the fallback file, because it's 2017, not 1997

shoutcast renames the file.
But, I tried it anyway, and it's exactly the same. |

Can the service provider help?
Or should I assume that my broadcast is being deliberately sabotaged? |

this thread should be moved to
SHOUTcast Streaming Service & Monetization http://forums.winamp.com/forumdisplay.php?f=180 do you have any other type of control panel that your using, maybe an autodj or some other service? maybe something is configured somewhere to use that file and its updating back to the old after your manual update. or its just a bug. the strange thing is i dont think there has been any other reports of it so far. maybe there is, i have yet to 'use the search'. have you restarted your browser/computer/clear dns caches/clear browser caches/update browsers to their latest version/install any available system updates? |

Absolutely no other software being used. I access it through rmo.shoutcast.com .
If it is configured to revert back to the old file, I'd appreciate it if the operators of shoutcast could tell me, and how to fix it. |
