Relays disconnecting
The changelog says changes were made in regards of relays not reconnecting to main streams. Since the latest release I am having a TON of problems with relays dumping and not reconnecting even with retries set at 9999. Anyone else because I am almost ready to put the old version back in as it had less issues than this.

what is/are the bitrates of the reconnecting relays? low bitrate streams seem to have connection issues with the new dnas version (2.5.5).

Was running at 256k mp3. Looks like the problem was more than one thing although I cannot figure out why relays are not reconnecting when they do drop. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
So I set a 180 adaptive buffer across the servers which sure seems to have helped and had an issue at my main feed server which the host moved and fixed that issue. But even at 999 retries not sure why they are not reconnecting. I also switched back to the prior version. Not sure which made the difference but stable as a rock for a pretty good period so far. Now if I can just figure out why two servers keep grabbing a different station ID.... Megarock Radio - St. Louis Since 1998! Don't click this link! Corporate Radio Sucks! No suits, all rock! |
