Host says I can't have two servers with the same name.

Yes that is because the other server is listed, you cannot have two radio streams with the same name/info in SHOUTcast directory, you know that this will mean that all stations that are online to spam their directory with hundreds of relays in order to get more exposure/audience.

I have one main distro server. Eight relays connect to it no problem.

This host was asked to connect a Shoutcast server on their end to my distro server. If I stream direct to it the sever goes public and lists. If I have it run as a relay the server goes private and in the logs I see no communications with the YP other than two lines in the beginning of the logs showing there is an update available. No other communications happen no matter how long I wait.

And I can connect to the server from the outside. Others connect to it as well without issue. There is just NO communications with the YP at all in relay. Stream direct to server and it goes public and lists fine.

Starting to think this host doesn't know how to properly run a Shoutcast server with multiple streams on it or has something really badly configured. I've been setting my own SC servers up on my own Linux box and used plenty of other hosts connected as a relay and never seen this before.
