How to resample?
Hi there!
I'm trying to use Shoutcast and I want to transmit in 128kbps, 44Khz, but I have a lot files in 96Khz, per example. But when I play theses files on winamp, the songs get slowly as hell. I guess tha sample rate interferes, right? There is any way to resample this during the transmission? Shoutcast: v2.3.5 Winamp: v5.666 Cheers |

Not alone with the both tools. You need a transcoding software between streaming client (Winamp: v5.666) and server (DNAS). Or you have to resample all your used files.

Have you considered using/trying other software to see if they play your files correctly?
It may also be worth seeing if your sound card can be set at 96khz ![]() If that doesn't do the trick you might have to rencode the files back to 44.1Khz Apologies for the big picture its Facebook... |
