'Stream Savers Not Allowed'
2018-06-10 15:07:07 INFO [DST sim8941.agni.lindenlab.com:25070] Stream savers not allowed.
How can I stop this? I don't have anything blocked and also added to RIP list. Not sure why it is picking up as a stream ripper. Megarock Radio - St. Louis Since 1998! Don't click this link! Corporate Radio Sucks! No suits, all rock! |

You could do a trace on the name to find out the IP adress and ban it
Sort of a reverse IP search.+ + I did this with an online tool and it gave me 216.82.41.117 as the IP adress |

could be a built-in dnas block based on the way the "saver" impliments the request. may be a well-known bad guy. also it's probably not based on ip or user agent alone, but a combination of anomalies.
edit:add -- one dnas internal block i know of is certain user-agents containing "lynx" /* v2 HTML5 / Player test pages DigitalMixNYC, DigitalMixNYCbx | DNAS Status: Now Playing js codes (scaststatus_X.php) | PortForward.com | Upload/Download Speed Test | No-IP.com: Free Dynamic DNS | In the YP | dnasDir */ |

From what I see it is Linden Labs which I believe is a gaming community. I know I have a bunch of listeners who pull the station into the games so my guess is it is some type of relay that grabs and feeds back out.
Rarely look at the logs since things usually just run but moved servers this weekend and saw the connection attempts Actually trying to figure out a way to let them in as opposed to blocking. Megarock Radio - St. Louis Since 1998! Don't click this link! Corporate Radio Sucks! No suits, all rock! |
