looks like you need a can-opener to start it ;p - but serious, it looks great - I like the color scheme and yes - somehow it reminds me on salmon in a can

Hmmm.. (hey look i stole amp's word)

This looks very good BOBO, the only comment at first view is that i don't really like the EQ-sliders. But that is just my candy-bar

Seems that silver/grey-red skins have become popular since Razor Amp, or some of Jayn's skins , but anyway great skin!!!!

no clutterbar in clutterbar of modes, only a white box
no close button in avs

side not: the red doesn't reflect in the metal parts

otherwise, i don't seen any flaws.
good skin here

i don't see a missing clutterbar or the close button in the AVS, as essential parts. Most people don't even know the clutterbar can be turned off.

I'm impressed.
However without downloading, I beg you to finish the buttons in the same style you did the Playlist buttons.

If anyone can find any of the skins I made please email them to Forevever@aol.com
I can't remember all the names but specifically hunting for Lascivious, and DEVOUR (compilation with Jax) and any in the Impulse series which had 6 total. Auriferous, Gilt, Impulse, Nadir, and 2 others I can't remember but you dig.

practisin' for official reviews

[img]http://www22.brinkster.com/smoothgraphics/rating/sim-rating.jpg"]here[/url], ref -sawg]
..errr forget about that.
I ment ampburner's rating
[Brinkster image removed, located here, ref -sawg]
[Brinkster image removed, located here, ref -sawg]
[Brinkster image removed, located here, ref -sawg]
[Brinkster image removed, located here, ref -sawg] actually 4.5 but simon doesn't seem to support that

great work bobo
I think the skin looks very sleek, but being a metal skin I can't possibly give it a high rating for originality In however, in it's genre I think this is a very good contender, but the competition amongst metal skins is very tough, and this skin, great as it is just misses that extra sumthing sumthing to make it a five star

Oh and simon, sorry for stealing your stars I'll remove them if you want

Clutterbar = little tiny buttons next to the time countdown and spectrum analyzer in the main window. Make sure you skin it both with buttons and without. Some of us run with NO Clutter Bar selected in Preferences/Options/Display/Display Options. A white strip can be very distracting to an otherwise excellent skin.

Look to the right of the titlebars. See the clutter bar now. There are seven parts to the clutterbar source images.

They are (l-r, t-b):

clutterbar on, none pressed
clutterbar off
clutterbar on, 'o' (options menu) pressed
clutterbar on, 'a' (always on top) pressed
clutterbar on, 'i' (id3 tag editor) pressed
clutterbar on, 'd' (doublesize) pressed
clutterbar on, 'v' (vis. options) pressed

The reason for clutterbar off, is that there is an option to turn it off in the preferences.

I feel like Its like it should be sitting on a table in a faux 50's diner and if you put a quarter in it it will start playing that "Johnny Angel" song...

With a little more decoration it would be a wonderful 50's jukebox...

Very nice skin bobo, kinda reminds me of tinfoil.Only one wee thing is the colour of the text in the playlist, perhaps would have liked that a little clearer, but that's probably just tired eyes on my part.
