Question Unicode - Finally fixed in 2, still missing in 3

Finally, with 2.79, winamp2 gets unicode support for id3v2 tags that wmp and explorer keep writing.

http://<a href="http://forums.winamp...adid=65914</a>

And now I discover first that I absolutely love winamp3 (try corneramp skin), and second that it doesn't support unicode id3v2 tags. Argh.

It truncates the last letter, just like 2 did. There's an attachment to show what I mean.

I'm running WinXP with NTFS, files are stored on an NT server, also with NTFS.

I'm also runnin 2.79 on WinXP with NTFS and it still removes that last letter from tags written with WMP

Actually, try this MP3 file whose tag was written by WMP. In my 2.79 the last letter is removed from title, artist and album

Post More info

Nick -

I tried your file in winamp 2.79, winxp pro, ntfs, and could see (Artist Name - Song Title). If you want, I can send you a screenshot. I checked the File Info, and it all matched what explorer reported. So, as far as I can tell, 2.79 works fine.

"Song Title" is displayed right in v2.79. please stop whining and install v2.79 correctly.
