Help broadcasting with tables/mixer
hey guys first i checked all the topics and this is somewhat new i guess
heh. Ok the problem is i did what they other guys did. connected mixer to soundcard via line-in. the thing is I hear sound through the speakers but windows doesnt realize that there is sound coming in and in winamp there are no bars on the equalizer, so basically its all silence. what did i do wrong.

In shoutcast source, go to the input tab, make sure input device is set to 'soundcard input'. If it is, click on open mixer, and look for 'Line' or 'Line in' in the recording section. Make sure that the level is up and the 'mute' checkbox is NOT TICKED !!!

On the DSP for Winamp, there are 4 tabs at the top.
MAIN | OUTPUT | ENCODER | INPUT |

By the way, the eq bars in winamp will not move when you play live content through your soundcard. Use the bars in the dsp to adjust your modulation level.
Did you install the dsp? Download DSP plugin page |

Is it plugged in line in on the soundcard.... If it is, it must be a setting in your soundcard mixer.. Can't you poke more in from yor mixer to the comp?
