made this yesterday evening and updated it this morning for about ten minutes. You asked for freeform now you shall have it. I wanted to have this out before WA3 3.0 was released but none the less here it is.

Heh, it's nice and soft and weird. I like it a lot! It might be cool of the whole thing had a suble "breathing" effect to it, or some kind of slow, subtle, repetitive motion; it would make it feel, kinda, alive.

Just my 2cents.

I like the colors on this one more than the current. Just add in some color presets and I'll be happy. Also I'd like an option to add a kind of glow to the buttons, I think it would make it more readable too.

Just my two cents, but here's an idea: Ever thought of doing one of those "IMac" type series? I can do the color changes on the pictures...if needed.

cmdbtns: adjusted the brigtness to make it more legible

anti-alias: hmm. normally i don't do any AA, so quit ur bitchin

iMAC: that thought had crossed my mind but... no

some of the (planed) animation stuff (will) make(s) the elevation more noticable.

still agrivated over the vis section tho. i might extend it out hoizontal wise maybe. (rect variation)

also i might drop the drop-shadow or decrease it because it is chewing up a hell of lot of memory(got 512mb sd)

i'll post a ss once i've done more to it.

It looks like a piece of modern sculpture, definately original. I agree with the need for it to have a bit more of a 3-D effect though.

Intriguing - can I ask why you named it "Oberon"? In going with the name, may I suggest more accentuation on the shadows?

take a look at the pic and then read on.

ok, in the center lcd i plan on putting conponents icons such as eq, vis, pl and what not.

on the left that is an animation showing the path of the vis drawer.

the eq and pl stuff will 'fold' out in the same fashion in different places on the skin.

Hmm, it might not be impossible if you used animated layers for the drawer scrolling, and if the image for when the drawer was in and when it was out is different..
